Tinjure Hills (7,000 ft) overlooks the East Sikkim District in Sikkim. It lies on the trek route from Gangtok to Rumtek.
From the ridge, one can view the Mount Kanchenjunga and the charming paddy fields. A wooden observation tower of the Forest Department is located at Tinjure Hills.
Rumtek Monastery, most important seats of the Kagyu lineage outside Tibet, is nearby.
