Thiruvalluvar Two Tier Bridge

Thiruvalluvar Two Tier Bridge is situated at the junction of Tirunelveli. Opened in 1972, this bridge with a length of 800 m was constructed to avoid the railway crossing. It has 25 spans of which 13 are of bow string arch, each with a width of 30.30 m. The remaining 12 are single tier R.C.C girder each having a width of 11.72 m.
