Vilakkoli Perumal Temple

Thiruthanka temple is situated at Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. This temple is dedicated to Lord Deepa Prakasar, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The deity is also known by the names Vilakkoli perumal and Divya pirakasar. The idol is in a standing position, due west.

Apart from the main shrine, there are separate shrines in the temple complex dedicated to Lord Vedantha Desikar and Goddess Lakshmi Hayagreevar.
