The Nalayira Divya Prabhandam was revived by Nadhamunigal at this place. Mahamaham tank, Kumbeswarar and Sarangapani temples are worth visiting. Kumbakonam railway station is in close proximity. The nearest airport is Tiruchirapalli Airport.
