Tenzingaon is located in
West Kameng District, about 200 km from
Tezpur city in Arunachal Pradesh. This hilly region blessed abundantly by nature, is surrounded by beautiful snow clad mountains and thick forests.
The major landmark of this region is the Gyuto Tantric Monastery. The Central School for Tibetans here, established in 1972, is managed by the Central Tibetan Schools Administration, New Delhi.
