Tengapania is situated on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra in Sibsagar District. It is bounded by Dhakuakhana (16 km) in the west, Machkhoa (17 km) in the north, Disangmukh (17 km) in the south. Tengapania is located about 24 km south of Sibsagar, the district headquarters.
World’s largest river island, Majuli, is easily accessible from here.
Lilabari Airport (53 km) and Simaluguri Junction Railway Station are the nearest access points.
