Taraj is a pretty village in Jhalawar District of Rajasthan and is located about 20 km north-west of Aklera.
Dak-Bungalow, a noted game-preserve of the former Kota rulers, is the major point of attraction in Taraj. An ancient township on the banks of Parwan River and Kakuni constitute interesting excursions outside Taraj.
