Tangol is a small village in
Kargil District and is about 70 km from
Kargil. It is considered as the approach base for climbing Mount Nun.
One can have spectacular views of the Himalayas and a number of glaciers.
Tangol is situated about 6 km ahead of Panikhar on the Zanskar road and is about 14 km from the Penzella Pass.
