Started in 1977 by Dr Phanumantha Rao, Sweekaar Rehabilitation Institute for Handicapped is a non-profit, voluntary organization in Secunderabad. It provides rehabilitation services to all categories of disabled under one roof.
Registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulations Act (FCRA), the institute has state-of-the-art infrastructure to meet all needs of the mentally challenged, hearing impaired, visually impaired and physically challenged persons. The sister concerns of the institute are Upakaar, Aashray and Suraksha.
