Sveta Vinayagar Temple is situated near
Cauvery River at Tiruvalanchuli in Thanjavur District of Tamil Nadu. The main deities of the temple are Lord Sadaimudinathar and Goddess Perianayaki. The unique aspect of this temple is Sveta Vinayagar or White Pillaiyar, made of sea foam. The sea foam is believed to have been formed at the time of churning of the milky ocean by the gods and demons to get the divine nectar.
