Established in 1896, the St Thomas High School forms an important land mark in the history of Pala. It has been offering basic education for the public for the past 100 odd years. Sethu Lakshmi Thampuratti, mother of the then King of Travancore, had singled out the school for direct patronage and financial assistance.
