Sri Parashakti Temple is situated at Madyar, near Mangalore in Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka. It was consecrated under the inspiration of Sri Narendranatha Yogeeshwareshwara Swami of Sri Guru Parashakti Mutt. As compared to other temples in south India, this temple has the unique feature wherein the Goddess Vaishnavi of the Himalayas is worshipped as the main deity. Besides the presiding deity, the temple complex also houses the shrines of Vyaghra Chamundi, Kalabharaveshwara Swami, Lakshmi Narasimha,
Anjaneya and Mahaganapati.
Mangalore is well connected by rail and road with other cities and towns. Mangalore Junction Railway Station is the nearest railway station and Bajpe Airport at Mangalore is the nearest airport.
