Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidhyalaya, founded under the sponsorship of Sri Kanchi Kamakodi Peetam Charitable Trust in 1993, is located at Enathur, about 4 km from Kanchipuram. This is a Deemed University.
A number of courses are offered under various faculties, namely, faculty of Sanskrit and Indian Culture, engineering, computer applications, management studies and medicine.
The library has a rich collection of over 2,00,000 books and current periodicals. A unique feature of this library is the collection of rare and ancient manuscripts and palm-leaves. These collections benefit to high quality research in Sanskrit and various fields of modern science and technologies. A placement cell has also been established.
