| KarnatakaSri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Mutt
Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Mutt is situated in Adichunchanagiri, at an elevation of 3,300 ft. It is located 110 km west of Bangalore and 66 km from Mandya. In olden times this area was the abode of many wild peacocks and birds. The mutt is now headed by Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji. Free feeding is offered to all the pilgrims who visit here daily. Many social service activities are also undertaken by the mutt.
