Sowar

Sowar, also spelt Sanwar, is in Jaisalmer District of Rajasthan. It lies near the international border of India and Pakistan at about 19 km to the west of Bhuana. Some of the other easily accessible towns are Dhanana, Murhar and Biloi. Thirty-eight kilometers to the north lies a town Shahgarh. Jaisalmer holds the major places of tourist interest which include Jaisalmer Fort, Tazia Tower, Sonar Quila, Gadi Sagar Tank and Gadsisar Lake. Nearest Railway Station : Jaisalmer Railway Station.
