Songtsen Library



Located at Dehradun, in Uttaranchal , Songtsen Library collects, preserves and makes accessible ancient Tibetan and Himalayan religious, cultural and historical documents. It is named after King Songtsen Gampo, the 33rd Tibetan king. The library houses statutes of Trisong Deutsen, Songtsen Gompo and Ralpachen, three religious kings.

Songtsen Library offers facilities for short-term meditation retreats. There are suites with sitting room, bedroom, kitchens and single rooms with private bath. A conference hall, reading room and dining hall are among the features.
