Sonapur is a village in the outskirts of Guwahati, in Kamrup District of Assam. It is situated 16 km to the east of Khanapara, 18 km to the south of Pakariamukh and 9 km to the north of Margang. Sonapur is well connected with the state capital, Dispur.
