Sir George Everest House, also known as the Park Estate of Sir George Everest, is situated about 6 km Mussoorie, in Dehradun District of Uttaranchal. It is the building and laboratory of the first Surveyor General of India, Sir George Everest. The highest peak in the world, Mount Everest, is named after him. The house is situated in a picturesque place from where once can catch the panoramic view of Doon Valley on one side and view of Yamuna Valley and snow bound Himalayan ranges on the other.
