Sinquerim is a small village situated 16 km from the capital of Goa, Panaji, in Bardez taluk of North Goa District. Aguada Fort, the Portuguese fort on the coast, built in 1612, is situated here. Sinquerim Beach and a four-storey lighthouse are some of other attractions of the village.

Candolim and Baga beaches are the nearby tourist attractions. Taj Holiday Village and Aguada Hermitage are also located in this picturesque village. Goa Airport at Dabolim is 45 km away and the railway station at Karmali is 25 km from here.
