Sinla Pass




Sinla Pass, situated at a height of about 5890 m, is in Pithoragarh District, the easternmost hill district of Uttaranchal. The path to the pass is covered by snow. Sinla Pass is an ideal base for trekking and the trek is one among the best in Kumaon mountains. There is a magnificent view of the Chota Kailash Peak from this pass. Other scenic views include Dharma Valley and the Panchachuli group of peaks.

The pass is closed most of the time and is opened only during the months of August-September.
