Sikar City is located in the Sikar district of Rajasthan and is the headquarters of the district. Once it was the largest Thikana under the Jaipur state and the town is designed to resemble the city plan of Jaipur. The prime attractions of the city are Sikar's large market, the clock tower, and the painted Biyani haveli. Other attractions of the city include Sagarmal sodhani haveli, Madho niwas-kothi, jubilee hall, fort, and temples of Gopinath, Raghunath, and Madan Mohan. The city is accessible by road and rail. Khatu hyamji fair is the main fair of the city.
