Siddapura (Siddapur) is located near Lalbagh in
Bangalore. Siddapura is known for its plant nurseries and the area got its name from the groups of Jangama siddis (saints) who had been living here 300 years ago.
Thousands of varieties of plants are available here including Edenesque. There is a lake called Siddapura Lake, which covers nearly 30 acres. The Someshwara Temple is another attraction. Siddapura is also the coolest place in Bangalore.
