Shri Mahamaya Lakshmi Narasimha Temple



Shri Mahamaya Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is the second temple in the series of eight Kuladevatha Mandirs of the mandir complex at Ambalamedu, Ernakulam District. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Mahamaya. She is also worshipped by the names Aryadurga, Navadurga, Shanthadurga and Karthyayani. The deity was installed by H H Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji.

The main festivals celebrated annually are Gauri Thratheeya, Durgaasthami and Sri Nrisimha Jayanthi.

The temple can be approached from Ernakulam Town as regular city buses ply between Ernakulam and Ambalamedu. Tripunithura town is 5 km from here. Tripunithura railway station on the Ernakulam - Thiruvananthapuram line is the nearest railhead.
