Shri Balabadra Devi Temple, at Pattanakad near Cherthala in Alappuzha District, is a family temple of the gowda Saraswat Brahmin community.
The Devi temple celebrates the annual Prathista Mahotsav on the Pooyam asterism in the Malayalam month of Makara (January-February). Special pujas are conducted in this temple on every Friday and on every Sankramana.
The temple is accessible from Kodungallur and Cherthala by road. The nearest railhead is Cherthala Railway Station.
