Sheshnag Shrine

Sheshnag Shrine is a highly revered shrine situated on the eastern banks of the Mansar Lake in Udhampur District of Jammu and Kashmir. This temple enshrines Lord Sesha as the presiding deity.

The shrine has a big boulder on which are placed a number of iron chains. It is believed that these iron chains represent the small serpents waiting on the tutelary deity of Lord Sesha.

This temple lies 40 km south of Udhampur, on the Udhampur Samba Road. Jammu Tawi Railway Station and Jammu Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.
