The School of Planning and Architecture is a specialized institution established in 1941. It offers training and education at various levels of planning, full time bachelors programs in Architecture, Planning and Building Engineering and Management. With a wide range of programs including theories, seminars, projects and thesis, the school has 3 semester post graduate programs leading to master’s degree. The students study Constructional Technology, Functional Efficiency of Buildings, Building Services-I, Computer Applications, Project Management-I and Statistics during the first semester. Structural Systems and Design Processes, Building Services-II, System Analysis and Operation Research, Advanced Material Science, and Project Management-II are studied during the second semester. Building Legislation and Professional Practice, Project Management-III, Electives and Thesis are covered in the final semester. The school is spread over 3 campuses offering an excellent atmosphere for students in their studying.
