Affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M G R Medical University and approved by Government of Tamil Nadu, Saveettha College of Physiotherapy is located on Poonamallee High Road, at the commencement of the by-pass road on the Chennai-Bangalore highway. Established in 1993, the institute offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) courses. Facilities include hostel, library, cafeteria, bank, store, pharmacy and gymnasium. A 100 bedded hospital is also attached to the institute offering adequate training for students. It features a 24 hour casualty department, well equipped resuscitation room, three major operation theatres, one minor theatre, a labor room and an intensive care unit. Admissions are done as per Govt norms.
