Sargunalingeswarar-Karukkudinathar Temple is situated at Marudaantanalloor, about 6 km south-east of Kumbakonam. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is adorned with a 70 feet high rajagopuram and two prakarams. Goddess Sarvalankrita Nayaki is also worshipped here. The temple teertham is Yama Theertham. Sivaratri in the month of Maasi (mid February–mid March) and the Mondays in the month of Karthikai (mid November - mid December) are auspicious days for the temple.
