Sal is a tourist village in Bicholim taluk of North Goa District. It is situated at 25 km from Mapusa and 5 km from Kansarpal. Prime attraction is the Shree Mahadev Bhumika Temple, set in beautiful natural surroundings. Nearby attraction is the Shree Kalikadevi Temple at Kansarpal. Ideal time to visit here is during the three day festival of 'Gades' which begins on Phalgun Purnima in the month of March. Devotees crowd to the village to have the darshan of 'Devchars' (Gods) during the festival.
Nearest airport is Goa Airport, about 40 km south of Mapusa at Dabolim.
