Sahaganj is a sleepy town in Hooghly District of West Bengal. It is around 4 km north of Hooghly and 2 km east of Devanandapur. Halisahar, 3 km to the east; Bansberia, 5 km to the north and Naihati, 3 km to the south are some of the major places around.

A manufacturing unit of Dunlop India Limited is located here.

Bandel Church, Tarakeshwar Temple, Nandadulal Mandir, Chandannagar, Arambagh, Dhaniakhali, Imambara, Shandeswara Temple, Yeats Tomb, Mahisasurmardini Temple, Chinsurah, Bandemataram House, Hanseswari Temple and Vasudeva Temple are the important attractions in the vicinity.

The town is only a two-hour drive from Kolkata. Nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. Hooghly Railway Station managed by the Eastern Railways is the nearest railway station.
