Sagarpur is a small town located in the Gaya District of Bihar. Gaya and Bodhgaya are at distances of 17 km and 8 km respectively.
Bara, located on the National Highway 83, is nearly 8 km to the west of Sagarpur.
Gaya and Bodhgaya constitute short excursions outside the town. For the Hindu pilgrims, Mangalagowri Temple, Prapitaamaheshwara Temple and Vishnupaada Temple are some of the ideal spots. Other than these, the major festival of Gaya, Pinddaan, attracts thousands of people from in and around the country.
