Romasaresar Temple, an ancient temple, lies at Maduranthakam in Kanchipuram District. The temple has an idol of Romasaresar as the presiding deity. This shed-shaped temple has an idol of Lord Shiva, established by sage Romesar, in the sanctum-sanctorum.
One can reach this temple by taking the K T S Mani Street into Periyar Nagar. The temple is located near the railway track at Periyar Nagar. The nearest airport is the Chennai International Airport and the Arakkonam Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
