Ramna, located about 20 km north-west of Garhwa, is a taluk headquarters town of Garhwa District. It is about 10 km east of Nagar Untari, 17 km south of
Bhawanathpur and 23 km north of Chinia.
Garhdevi Mandir at Garhwa and Goddess Bhagvathi Temple at Bhawanathpur are the prominent shrines nearby. Radha Krishna Mandir at Nagar Untari is noted for its golden image. About 18 km away at Dhuraki is the Sukhaldari Waterfalls. Parasdiha Waterfalls in Bhawanathpur is another nearby attraction.
Ramna Railway Station and Garhwa Railway Station serve this town. Varanasi Airport is the nearest airport.
