Pushpagiri of Thiruvannamalai District is located on the road to Vellore from Thiruvannamalai. Polur is 17 km south and Vallam is 11 km north. Aliyabad and Kannamangalam are other nearby places.

Padaveedu, famous for Arulmigu Renugambal Amman Temple, is just one km west of Pushpagiri. Arulmigu Venugopala Swamy Temple at Kottamalai is nearby.

Kannamangalam Railway Station and Arni Road Railway Station are the nearest rail access points. Nearest airport is Chennai International Airport.
