Pir Majhar is a tomb, situated at the heart of Goalpara town. This memorial is of a saint named Hazarat Sayed Abul Kasem Kharasani.
Respected by both Muslims and Hindus, Pir Majha is crowded by the devotees who offer money and candle and pray for fulfillment of their desires. Every year his Urs Mubarak (death anniversary), is observed on the 21st day of lunar calendar month of Safar.
