Phekbar is a small village located at a height of 9,465 ft above sea level in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 160 km from Srinagar – the state capital and is to the south of Kargil.
Pashkyum in the west, Gurung in the north, Samar in the east and Azgang in the south are the neighbouring locations.
Phekbar can be approached on the Buruqqu – Goma road, which leads to Shergol.
