Pavnar is a historic village situated on the banks of river Dham in
Wardha District,
Maharashtra. It is one of the oldest settlements in the district. The place was named after the Rajput king, Pawan. The Gandhi Kuti and the Paramdham ashram of
Acharya Vinoba Bhave are situated in this village.
