Papa Vinasana Teerth is a low waterfall located about 5 km north of Shri Venkateswara Temple at Tirupati, a holy city in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh.
It is believed that taking bath in this teerth will dispel one’s sins of previous births, especially on the 7th day of the bright fortnight (combined with the star Uttarashada) or on the 12th day of the bright fortnight (combined with Uttara Bhadra) in the month of Aswayuja (September-October).
