Pannaipatti is a quaint village, located 22 km from Athoor, at the foothills of Thonimalai, a part of the Western Ghats, in Dindigul District of Tamil Nadu. Most of the villagers are mainly engaged in agriculture. Rice, coconut, bananas, ground nuts and vegetables are the main agricultural produce.
The Panchayat Union Middle School in the nearby premises promotes the educational needs of the children. This hamlet lies away from Kannivadi on the main road to Palani and is accessible by a small rutted tarmac road.
