Panankattunathar Temple lies 14 km away from Kanchipuram at Tiruppanankadu in Kanchipuram District. The principal deity of this Shivasthalam is Lord Panankattunathar (Shiva). There is a separate worship place for Goddess Amirthavalli. The Sthala Vriksham is Panai Maram and the Teertham is Sadagangai. Sage Sundarar is said to have contributed pathigams in praise of Panankattunathar.
