Palghat Kennel Club, established in 1986, is organized to promote the participation among the individuals who are interested in dogs. It caters the needs of canine lovers in Palakkad. Affiliated to Kennel Club of India, the club helps in processing applications for dog registrations, litter registrations, dog transfers and other certificates of canine interests.
The club conducts veterinary camps where vaccines are distributed free of cost. It also ensures the availability of good pedigree dogs and pups in and around Palakkad.
Palghat Kennel Club hosts its annual dog show during the second week of December.
