Palayajeyankondachozhapuram

Palayajeyankondachozhapuram, also spelt Palayajayamkondacholapuram, is a small town in Karur District, Tamil Nadu. Situated near Krishanarayapuram, it spans over an area of about 17 sq km. The town is surrounded by Uppidamangalam in the west, Velliyanai in the south-west, Krishanarayapuram in the north and Kiranur in the south. Nearby interesting spots include Government Museum at Karur, Maha Lakshmi Amman Temple, Kalyana Venkattaramasami Temple, Rock Fort at Tiruchirapalli and Kulittalai. The nearest airport is Tiruchirapalli Airport. Mayanoor Railway Station serves the town. Karur Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead. Palayajeyankondachozhapuram can be accessed by road from Krishanarayapuram, Karur and Kulittalai.
