Palashdanga

Palashdanga, located by the banks of the Damodar River, is in Bankura District of West Bengal. It lies about 10 km south of Durgapur and 12 km north of Sonamukhi. The town is bounded by Brindabanpur and Barjora in the west, Panagarh in the east and Panchal in the south.

The 12th century Panagarh Fort is the major tourist spot nearby.
