Established by Sri Vishnu Educational Society in 1997, Padmasri Dr B V Raju Institute of Technology is named after Padmabhushan Dr B V Raju – an eminent philanthropist.
The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. It offers B Tech courses in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Information Technology and Electronics and Communication.
Housed within 2.5 lakh sq ft structured building, the college is inclusive of administrative and western blocks, library, hostels, canteen and staff quarters. Special prominence is given to sports activities and separate playgrounds for boys and girls are available.
