Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), incorporated in 1993, is located at Numaligarh, about 30 km from Golaghat, in Assam. It is one of the finest refineries in the country and is popularly known as ‘Assam Accord Refinery’.
Numaligarh Refinery uses crude from oil fields of Oil India Ltd and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd in Assam. It is designed to produce kerosene and diesel and uses state-of-the-art eco friendly technology. NRL has a work force of over 132 persons specialized in the fields of technology, finance and personnel function. It has a power plant of 60 MW which to meet the power requirements of plant and its township.
Numaligarh Refinery is about 35 km from Furkating Junction Railway Station.
