National Institute of Immunology (NIT) is an autonomous research institution supported by the Department of Biotechnology. It focuses in gene regulation, immunity and infection, molecular design, and reproduction and development. NIT conducts short-term training for students of PG courses of Indian universities and Ph D degree courses. The centre is equipped with modern facilities to meet the growing demands of scientists, students, teachers, researchers. The Institute has published and distributed large number of journals, books and other technical papers.
