National Engineering College was established in 1984. It offers undergraduate courses in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Postgraduate courses in Computer Application, Production Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering are offered. The college has state-of-the-art laboratories, well stocked library, auditorium, lecture halls, class rooms, and hostels. The college functions under the self-financing scheme and admissions are as per the rules and regulations of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu.
