Mucchandipalli Mosque

Mucchandipalli Mosque (humorously called Muccunti Mosque) at Kuttichira is one of the oldest mosques in Kozhikode. The mosque, constructed in the traditional Kerala architectural style, houses 13th century vattezhuthu (inscriptions) which reveal the history of the zamorins of Kozhikode. The structure stands on a 2 m plinth, and has a semi-circular mihrab (prayer niche.)

Kozhikode Railway Station is the nearest rail depot.
