Moha Festival




Moha festival is celebrated by the Phom tribe of Nagaland. This festival is held annually in the month of May.

It is celebrated for the better growth of crops. On this day, various types of fresh crops are taken by the village elders or priest to a holy place called ‘moidu’. Special priest known as ‘Ngongpathu’ bless the crops for their better yield.
