Mir Shah Husain Shrine



Mir Shah Husain Shrine is a sacred place at Kara village in Jalandhar District of Punjab, near Nakodar. This shrine is dedicated to a saint, Mir Shah Husain who, according to legend, lived here about five hundred years ago. Every year a Hindu-Muslim fair is celebrated here with great pomp and fanfare, attracting a large number of people from far and near. Nakodar Junction Railway Station serves this area.
